Abstract

Evaluation of Biology Learning at SMAN 10 Bengkulu City Using the Countenance Stake Model. In the world of education, learning evaluation is a process to determine the value of learning and learning implemented, through assessment and / or measurement of learning and learning activities. This study aims to evaluate the Biology learning at SMAN 10 Bengkulu City based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 65 of 2013 concerning Basic and Secondary Education Process Standards. This research is an evaluation research using the Countenace Stake model. Data collection using techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The conclusions of the results of the study are as follows: (1) Biology learning planning is included in the sufficient category (70%), it is found that there is no conformity between the lesson plan and the standard of the learning process; (2) the implementation of Biology learning is included in the sufficient category (58%), there is no conformity between the implementation of learning with the standard implementation of learning processes; and (3) student learning outcomes have not met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) with an actuality of achievement of 65% sufficient category. 4) there is a contingency between planning, implementation and learning outcomes of science, which planning learning with enough categories causes the teacher to carry out learning not in accordance with the standard processes so that the learning outcomes of students do not meet the KKM.

Abstract

The aim of the analysisis to find the form and function of persuasive speech act whic used by street vendor in weekend sesonal in Agus Salim stadion. The result of analysis which taken from 19 different places shows that there are 39 data found as the form of persuasive speech acts. According to the data, the writer finds 3 types of persuasive speech acts. They are 25 assertive, 13 of directive, and 1 commisive. Beside that , there are also 6 persuasive speech function which classified as 18 persuasion, 11 suggestion, 7 enticement, 1 invitation, 1appeal, and 1 request. The most widely used form of persuasive speech is assertive and the most widely used speech function is the persuasion function.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the teacher's imperative speech acts in the teaching and learning process of Muhammadiyah High School Kupang, State High School 5 Kupang, Citra Bangsa Christian High School, Muhammadiyah Vocational School Kupang, and State Vocational School 1 Kupang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this reserch are in the form of speech that shows the form and meaning of imperative speech acts. Data collection techniques are carried out through the technique of observed free conversation, recording techniques, and note taking techniques. The results of the research show that: there are four forms of imperative teacher speech acts, namely (1) direct literal imperative speech acts, (2) imperative speech acts not literal, (3) indirect literal imperative speech acts, (4) indirect imperative speech acts not literal. Ten meanings of imperative speech act (1) Speech acts that contain imperative meanings of commands, (2) Speech actions that contain imperative orders of messengers, (3) Speech actions that contain imperative demand. (4) Speech actions that contain imperative meaning of courtesy, (5) Speech actions that contain imperative meaning of invitation, (6) Speech actions that contain imperative meaning of appeal, (7) Speech actions that contain imperative prohibition, (8) Speech actions that contain the imperative meaning of the request, (9) speech acts that contain the imperative meaning of insistence, and (10) speech acts that contain the imperative meaning of persuasion.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of students who consider fiqh learning to be a boring learning and that alone is a monotonous alias. This causes the saturation of student learning to result in low motivation to study fiqh. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the smart method, fast and precise in increasing the motivation to study Jurisprudence. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effectiveness of the quick and accurate smart method (C3T) in increasing the motivation to study fiqh in MI Hikmatun Najah. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and the population is all of the students of MI Hikmatun Najah, with a total of 84 students. While the samples in this study were taken as many as 24 students from grade 3 at MI Hikmatun Najah who used conventional learning methods to become the control class and one of them in class 4, amounting to 17 students using the smart and meticulous learning method quickly and precisely as an experimental class. The instruments used in measuring the motivation of fiqh learning by using a questionnaire system. Then the data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study showed that the intelligent method of fast and precise very effective in increasing the motivation of students to study fiqh.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of mathematics subjects in grade III 88 88 of the Sungai Mengkuang. Factors that influence are because learning is still conventional, there is no involvement of students in the learning process, do not use teaching aids in the learning process and do not use demonstration methods in the learning process. Describe the results of learning mathematics class III with the application of simple props ladder unit weight using the demonstration method. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the study were 27 students in grade III SD 88 / II Sungai Mengkuang. In its implementation, this research consisted of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely action planning activities, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The research data was collected based on observations, learning outcomes tests, and documentation. The results showed: 1) the application of simple props of the unit of weight by the demonstration method can improve the process of teachers and students. The process of teachers in the first cycle of 89% (good category) in the second cycle increased to 91% (very good category). The process of students in the first cycle by 81% (good category) in the second cycle increased to 92% (very good category). 2) an increase in learning outcomes that reach a value above the KKM (66) with a percentage of pre-cycle 19%, cycle I 51%, and cycle II 78%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low quality of science learning, so that the impact on learning outcomes isn’t optimal. This study aims to describe the process of implementation and the achievement of science learning outcomes for each cycle of action through the application of the CTL model. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SDN 17/II Tanah Tumbuh with research subjects for all students in class III. The research instruments were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, and learning achievement test questions. This research was successfully carried out in 3 action cycles. Each cycle of action includes planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting activities. The results showed the percentage of the success of the teaching process of teachers in the first cycle reached 69%, in the second cycle increased by 70%, and in the third cycle successfully increased to 80%. The percentage of the success of student learning processes in the first cycle reached 74%, in the second cycle increased by 78%, and in the third cycle successfully increased to 85%. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 67%, in the second cycle increased by 73%, and in the third cycle successfully increased to 87%. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of science students can improve through the application of the CTL learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies of effective classroom teachers in growing student discipline. This study used a qualitative phenomenological approach with the subject of the study being three high school teachers of SDN 211 / IX Mendalo Darat. Data is collected through observation and interviews and analyzed by classifying data, reducing data, presenting and drawing conclusions. The results showed an effective classroom management strategy undertaken by the teacher in fostering student disciplinary attitudes reflected in optimizing classroom management, seating arrangements that are hydrogen, playing sound intonation during learning, and student attendance in class on time. The research concludes that students' disciplinary attitudes can be grown by the teacher's strategy in effective classroom management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru sejarah selama ini; (2) Pengembangan media visualisasi gua Jepang Kupang; dan (3) Efektivitas penerapan Media Visualisasi Gua Jepang di Kupang dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Sudirman Kupang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau disebut dengan research and development (R & D) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran sejarah yang berlangsung selama ini di kelas XI SMA Sudirman Kupang selama ini masih dikatakan minim; (2) setelah dilakukan pembelajaran di kelas dengan menggunakan media visualisasi gua Jepang Kupang, siswa kelas XI di SMA Sudirman Kupang merasa penting untuk mengunjungi situs gua Jepang Kupang; (3 pengembangan media pembelajaran dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap diantaranya (a) tahap pemilihan bahan yakni memilih pokok bahasan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengembangan; (b) desain pengembangan yakni menelaah referensi lain yang relevan dengan pokok materi penelitian; (c) memproduksi video pembelajaran; (d) validasi produk baik oleh ahli materi dan ahli media hasilnya media layak untuk digunakan. (4) uji efektivitas media visualisasi gua Jepang yang dikembangkan melalui tiga tahap yakni uji coba satu-satu terhadap 3 orang siswa, uji coba kelompok kecil terhadap 10 orang siswa dan uji coba lapangan dilakukan terhadap kelas XI IPS sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 27 siswa pada masing-masing kelas. Hasil dari ketiga tahap uji coba tersebut dinyatakan “Baik”. Maka, media visualisasi gua Jepang tersebut dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI SMA Sudirman Kupang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan supervisi akademik dengan teknik observasi kelas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru SMPN 6 Tanah Sepenggal dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran pada semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 5 orang guru, yang ditentukan berdasarkan hasil observasi pada pra siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan supervisi akademik dengan teknik observasi kelas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru- guru SMPN 6 Tanah Sepenggal Kabupaten Bungo dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran pada semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Modified basketball sport will be able to develop children’s skills faster than standard equipment for adults because they are not obstructed by equipment that is too heavy and the field is too broad according to the child, and finally that modified sport can foster joy and pleasure in children. Children in competitive situations by modifying learning by modifying learning tools.The use of aids in the form of modification of basketball learning facilities in the implementation of this research is an alternative that can be used by the teacher to draw student’s attention in learning. Before the implementation of the action, students who succeeded in completing the minimum score of 75 for learning outcomes in shooting basketball were 5 students out of 26 students or about 19,23%.Futhermore, it experienced an increase after taking action, namely the learning outcomes of shooting basketball increased to 96,2% or about 25 students. So that the quality of the learning process on the ability to perform basic motion shooting basketball that can be seen student leaning outcomnes that have been improved that has been done in class IX A Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi district Muaro Jambi in an effort to improve learning outcomes in basketball shooting by implementing modification of learning fasilities managed to improve learning outcomes in basket ball shooting.
